Insurance

You are not covered by any insurance. Therefore we strongly advise you to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that you and your property are fully insured for the duration of your Safari. The following are commercially available:

  • Accidental death and disability
  • Loss of Personal effects
  • Emergency medical evacuation
  • Major medical
  • Trip cancellation

You acknowledge that HCS does not provide these type of insurance to you, the Client

Liability

Trips of this nature involve certain inherent risks and you, the client, agree that you participate in such trips at your own risk.

Therefore, while precautions are taken to safeguard you and your property, no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any accidents, injury, damage, illness, loss to person or property, negligence, before, during or after your Safari will be accepted.

“Force Majeure”

This means any circumstances beyond reasonable control of HCS, and including, but without limitation, acts of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war or threat of war, terrorist attacks, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or unrest, or requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention or hindrance of any kind, weather conditions or other untoward occurrences.

Deposits

A deposit of 50% of the total Daily Rate is required to confirm a booking and this means that you accepted the various clauses under “Terms and Conditions”. No refund will be made on any deposit/s paid. See faq’s for more info on this.

Balance

The balance of the Daily Rate is payable upon completion of your Safari.

Payment

All payments must be made in Cash, Traveler’s Cheques or Electronic Transfer (lastly, prior to your Safari). Upon termination of your Safari, a bill will be presented to you, for any additional costs incurred during the Safari, such as Air Charters, etc.

Travelling Arrangements

It is your own responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, travel permits, fire-arms permits, health certificates, inoculations, or any other documentation required for the trip are obtained and in order.

Cancellations

No refund will be made (see FAQ’s).

Contract and Information Sheet

Once a Safari is confirmed by means of a deposit, we will then require that you complete the “Contract and Personal Information Page“. It covers food and drink preferences, Personal Details and Trophy Priority.

Conditions

Due to nature of travel and hunting in Africa, rates and conditions are subject to change. We reserve the right to alter and change any of the above conditions without prior notice.
