Many of our guests can attest to Jolanes’ wonderful culinary-skills over the years and every now and then someone would comment “…you should write a book..”!

Well, this positive feedback and continuous encouragement inspired her to finally write-and-publish her own game-recipe book, ‘Savor Africa’.

This exciting 300-page book includes 100’s of game-recipes as well as side-dishes, salads, sauces, marinades, desserts and many more!

This one-of-a-kind book focus exclusively on how to prepare-and-cook wild game and range from the smallest to the largest of game-animals, including many delicious bird-recipes as well as such exotic and unusual dishes as ‘Leopard Wellington’, ‘Porcupine Back-Skin Roll’, ‘Spicy Springhare’, ‘Stuffed Eland Heart’, ‘Ostrich Fillet with Oriental Flair’ and many other unusual and mouth-watering recipes!

Harry did the illustrations to compliment this lovely book as well as some interesting ‘Hunting Tips’ on each of the animals and birds covered, including choice of calibre, shot-placement etc.
